So a fellow shaver offered up some brushes for sale and I bought two of them. A Semogue Owners Club boar and a restored Ever-Ready 500PBT with a TGN Silvertip knot and the handle has been weighted down inside. He was gracious in his price and even threw in a full tin WSP Rustic Shaving Soap – Lavender and a sample tin of Through the Fire Craft – Ember. Both are small American companies. Also a tuck of Voskhod teflon-coated DE blades which are pretty decent blades.
So I need to start cleaning these brushes and I might as well clean all my brushes while I’m at it. The soap will have to wait till July since I’m using VDH till the end of this month. I plan on using this SOC tomorrow as it has been one I have been wanting for quite some time.
Thank you Michael T. for such an excellent deal!
